It's Time

TujomaMusaki

"I think it's time for us to meet our destiny..."

The dog said with an air of mystique, his lips beginning to curl into a cheery grin as he looked to the other with affable regard. With what appeared to be a solid gold pocket watch tucked in open paw, the canines gaze listlessly glanced over the clocks face, only to return with an altogether genial grin towards that of his present company. His arm curled backwards to his side as his right paw casually motioned behind, the passing gesture beckoning to the open door way that led onwards. Through what appeared to be the ruins of an archaic castle ground that had rested here since ages past, what walls and structures still standing stood lopsidedly against an altogether  unstable foundation, the likes of which appeared to be sagging under its own weight. Multiple fractures and crevices through what ruined walls offered a glimpse as to what it may have served to protect or safeguard in days long past, chief of which remained the open entryway that led to the massive stairwell. For at the very top of the altar, a swirling blue vortex appeared to be suspended in midair, set atop of a raised stone forum, a tall hill serving as its pedestal. What flora grew here flourished, fields of grass readily joined by what trees and shrubbery had been carefully planted in a ring about the hill itself.

A beauteous canopy stretched infinitely in the skies above, glistening with the thousands fold stars suspended within its folds, what passing nebulae gleaming bright in an altogether ethereal and wondrous manner against the infinite void of the abyss in the depths of space..

The dog would be a guide, of sorts. A guide to ones fate in destiny..

Commentary: This was actually a gift for a friend of mine, who had faced something of an underwhelming birthday. Having received little in the way of presents, I figured I'd try and cheer him up with this gift of sorts, being that his birthday had already come to pass (Monday, I believe..?) I'm happy to report it was well received, which came as something of a surprise (as it took some guess work, based on the color schema among other factors,) but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. I'd started doodling sometime on Tuesday, and over the course of a couple of days, managed to finish it in its completion between my daily activities and frivolous pursuits. So hey, needless to say, I'm glad he enjoyed it.

The characters name is Cylo, and Cylo is (c) his player.
