The Toddlers Awaken

After binge watching the Original Star Wars Trilogy and the the Star Wars Prequels (As God intended) with their Pop both boys were super psyched for the newest installment in the Star Wars Saga. All the boys in the Smith household were giddy all week until they went to go watch Star Wars Episode VII until Mike took the cubs on a 'Boys Night Out'.

Cheryl was not as excited for the movie as her boys were. Between Mike's constant quoting of the first six movies, Kyle's Force 'training' in the living room, and Caiden's Wookie howl in public Cheryl was at her wits end. Finally, the end of her misery was in sight. Or so she thought.

Mike took the boys to McFural's for dinner and then to the movie theater to watch the movie. They all loved the movie and were even more crazy after the movie. Directly following the film Mike took them to the nearest toy store and they all bought Star Wars paraphernalia. Mike got a model X-Wing Fighter, Kyle got a red toy Lightsaber, and Caiden got a green toy Lightsaber. All to Cheryl's dismay when they all got home late that night. The boys were a nightmare to get to bed, Mike included.

Since the little ones got back so late the night prior, Cheryl decided to bathe them the next morning. She bathed them quickly and picked them up out of the tub and dried them off. Not soon after the put a diaper on Caiden and Kyle put on his Star Wars Underoos the phone rang. She left the boys for a moment to go answer the phone. About five minutes later she hung up and returned to the bathroom to find both boys missing. She frantically looked all over the house before she looked out the window to find her little ones in the front yard having a Lightsaber battle. Caiden was wearing his brown robe and just his diaper with his new green Lightsaber in his paw. Kyle was in just his undies and a towel wrapped around his neck and his new red Lightsaber in his paws. To top it off the whole neighborhood was watching thinking, 'There goes those Smith boys again...'. Cheryl just shook her head in dismay as this whole Star Wars phase wasn't going to go away anytime soon.
