Old River by TsaoShin

Old River

TsaoShin

"The forest is a symphony that sings an age old score. Day birds and the wind duet a harmony when they soar. The toads usher percussion with every croak and splash. Wolf and owl change to minor keys when sunsets colors flash.

So what part does the river play in the music of the wood? Is he elegant harp, mighty brass, or mayhap the strings seem good? Well water knows no boundary to any instrument or just one sound. Instead, I am the melody that this music is woven round.

Let the song of water pour over you and sweep your cares away. Lose yourself in my flow and I will ease you in my sway. For eons I have performed this piece for all my forest friends. So long now it's hard to tell where water begins and dragon ends."

Grendel and Rivers meet an old river dragon who (like most dragons his age) like to speak in silly lyrical ways. They don't mind since they are getting free transportation across the waters
