Trying to get the wings right drove me nuts...er, well anyway, was hard. To my point, the correct, easy and right way to paint means doing the broad background and large areas of color first and then working in details gradually. I work backwards (and it is MUCH harder). Painting the background into all the tiny wing areas was such a pain. Maybe someday I will learn to do it the "right" way. This is 16 1/2 x 10 1/2, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on Canson board. Original and prints for sale.
