Golden Dolphin Scroll box WIP (critique requested)

This is still in progress but I wanted to put something new on here now that I can. This is painted on a flexible wooden box and the art is based on two paintings by Raphael and illuminated manuscripts from the late 1500's. This is a Golden Dolphin (service award for the Kingdom of Atlanatia) WIP.

    This is daringly beautiful! The detail in the ornament strikes me especially. I figure it must be hard to paint on the scroll as it bends wuite a bit, so the symmetry of the ornament impresses me even more.

      Thanks! Trying to do the calligraphy on it now, not easy!
