Master of Defense is the SCA's 4th Peerage, it is a Knighthood for Fencing. This is the first scroll fro an MoD I have ever done. I Like to do different and I can only hope the man who got this was pleased with it.
Master of Defense scroll done on a pair of white leather gloves with a medallion of the order. Accomplishment of Arms with the addition of the badge for the Order of the Stag's Heart (Outlands), the badge of the Popular Company of Sojourners (Drachenwald), the badge for the Order of the White Scarf (Northshield), the badge for the Award of Cygnus (Northshield) and the badge for the Award of the Black Flame (Northshield). Done by Master Tristan Alexander. (Thanks to a lady in the SCA who is named Failenn Chu Inghean Fhaelain, the calligraphy is not completely a mess, she did a version of it for me to use as a template to get the lettering closer to right.

I know if I was the person who earned this, and you made it for me, I would be really happy about it. I've never participated in any SCA events (I can't drive to any) but I really like renaissance festivals and sometimes go with friends. The craftsmanship needed to make something like this can't come easy. You are very talented!

I'm in Texas! I am sure I could find something close, it just is hard to get a ride to them. If I find some friends into it I probably will try!

When things are going on, the SCA is well known for car pooling and helping those withot cars to get to meetings and events.

That is good to know! :D I admit that I haven't tried super hard but I have other hobbies too like cosplay/videogames, but I will look into it in the future for sure. :)
