Well this would be finished but my husband thinks the background is kind of plain and I feel like the picture still needs something, not sure what. If you have any ideas feel free to make suggestions!

The unreal texture and detail in the spirals carved into the antlers is sublime and my favorite aspect to this so far. The snowfield does seem a bit plain and stark when compared to the subject, perhaps an impression of a conifer forest way off in the distance to break up all of that white and to add some depth? Still a beautiful piece regardless, always love to see what you come up with for your holiday cards.
