Drawn in 1998. Later in the year, when I was dating the artist Jaguarundi, I was intrigued by digital art and wanted to give it a try.

I had met AeroFox at two of the very first conventions I ever attended, Duckon 6 and ConFurence 9, and I recall we both felt both simultaneously utterly lost and completely awed by our first conventions. IIRC, that was before we really met anyone in person, so it was kind of mind-blowing at the time to see so many other people with our shared interest in one place!

I think this particular piece was inspired by a particular road trip that Pheonix, Furp, AeroFox and others took to go visit Nrasser. Aero was feeling particularly lonely, so I recall doing this as a little gift!
