With the work around his tent finished Delaine had been out to inspect the surroundings to make sure nothing needed to be trimmed down or maintanenced. Keeping grass trimmed down was essential for things like the small arena that he made for battles and for the mini-corral that was meant for training his Pokemon in the art of racing and other rodeo-esque things. Right now, he was currently sitting and relaxing in the grass, Grom'ral sleeping soundly at his side. And then suddenly, there was a flash of gold that caught his eyes.

After the ordeal with the little wild eevee that happened by Delaine was surprised to see what appeared to be a gleaming and shining Vulpix off in the distance seemingly sniffing around. No doubt having smelt the fresh poffins that were baking in the oven inside of his tent. He gave Grom'ral a glance as the Deino slept soundly... Invincible was currently inside and resting up and most of his other Pokemon were likely not strong enough to take out a wild vulpix let alone a shiny one... but oh man did he want it. He wanted it so bad...

With a gentle shake of the withers Grom'ral was roused and his master patted his head "Come on Grom, we have something for you to test out some new skills you learned." Delaine was grinning from ear to ear as Grom let out an excited "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIN~" in response to what he heard. The little dragon was always ready for a battle it seemed and well Delaine was always willing to please. Standing up he carefully lead Grom'ral along before approaching the Vulpix which jumped sharply at their sudden appearance before it growled out, and Grom simply returned the gesture.

"Alright Grom go for it!" Delaine commanded holding out his arm as the Deino quickly charged the golden Vulpix with such impressive speed, ramming into the Vulpix's side earning a sharp yelp before it was quick to bounce back returning the favor with a nasty Payback which made Grom'ral hit the ground hard... "Wow you're strong..." Delaine muttered out grimacing as the Deino was back on his feet in no time... "Alright Grom, hit it with a Dragon Breath!"

"DEINNNNNNNNNNNNNNO!" As he was quickly charging the Vulpix again the young fox was quick to dodge to a side, but with that move Grom'ral had that spark in his mouth and the sudden blast of flames went forward... but, this Vulpix didn't just know Payback... no, it also knew Flamethrower and needless to say when the two blasts collided it was an impressive show. Who was going to win this battle? Only time would tell...
