Asbestos, Erratic household god of Terror. I spent a long time trying to get this one finished. While he's a relatively simple shape to work with, the ceramic parts were fired in a different manner than the ones on Ghast and Query. These parts went through a high-temperature soda firing, which involves injecting baking soda into the kiln while it's firing. The soda vaporizes and adheres to the clay surface, which can get you some pretty cool results.

This picture was taken during my final crit of the year, where I had all the gods displayed together. The jar next to Asbestos is made for containing fears and offering them to Asbestos in turn, who takes them on himself.
