Stupidity, it knows no bounds
Nor comprehends its fate
It trusts in lies and hides its eyes
Long after it's too late

Belief, they say, will see us through
And love is all we need
Love, that twisted name for hate
Excuse for all misdeeds

But there's a thing stronger than faith
And crueler still than love
A force that cares not what we've done
Nor died in service of

Reality, she has no heart
Her will cannot be swayed
And hers is always the last laugh
Despite the games we've played

Truth doesn't care if you believe it, nor does it change if you don't.
