A couple weeks ago, Jakebe posted a short story titled "Matthew Prepares for his Birth". Where a young man has to deal with physical changes that will affect the rest of his life. It was an interesting story that had my sympathy for Matthew as the writer laid out a very harsh reality for a transformation that some folks dream of. Plus the mention of CDC and Atlanta was an added treat being in Atlanta myself.

It inspired me to draw this sketch because I wanted to capture Matt's despair in a simple but effective way. Jakebe never mentioned Matt's ethnic origins so I decided to base it off of the writer's own. It's not prefect but I like it..
