Day 10 and 11 of the 25 days of Pokemon challenge: Meowth and Liepard

Uhm. This started out really cute. I promise.

Well, most of the Pokemorphs in my head canon universe work on a particular base headed by Diem, the Sableye morph.

The base also doubles as a sanctuary for abused and abandoned Pokemon.

Sad stories like this Liepard and Meowth show up all too often.

Both were horribly abused by their previous trainers before they were seized and given to the base for rehabilitation.

In this scene, the Liepard is telling the small Meowth its own story and trying to convince him that, while he may have only experienced bad people, good ones did still exist. He would recover and rise up from his own tragedy, just as the Liepard did years before.

Also an experiment with an early morning/dusk ambiance in the shading.
