I've always been partial romances that involve a human girl (I really like salt of the earth girls) and a monster guy who really isn't all that monstrous. I think it's adorable, I love when the monster guy is acts like a caring, thoughtful being (without becoming the cliche noble savage territory); then he and the girl interact, develop a friendship, maybe a relationship, and mebbe have babies. I try to make it obvious my guys are thinking feeling creatures, unlike....you know....ummm, 95% of those monster characters you may see in some of those special kind of stories in the Kindle store.

And since I like shark and dinos and reptiles, usually my guys go that route when it comes to physical appearances.

Apparently there is a lot of people like this. Which makes me a very happy person, which is why I've been drawing it a lot (cause you know, community).

Oh yeah, nurse (as in occupation) and his girlfriend. Inspired a bit by Shark Week, but more in the lines of maimed girl getting taken care of by a shark, rather than girl maimed by shark, you know, to screw with stereotypes. Or something. This a weird part of my life.
