Here's a closeup of the transformer, with extra focus on the ground bunch. All grounds originate from this point.
This is done to avoid ground loops and also allow more even power distribution.
I also need higher capacitance e-caps here, but 50V 4700µF or higher caps are kinda expensive. I am not feeling safe with 35V cap on a 33V rail...
The transformer originates from a dead Radiotehnika U-101-1 amplifier. I got two unused windings on it too, both 3V. Those were used for VFD panel filaments in that amp. I could wire these windings in series with the main ones to get couple extra volts, perhaps I'll try that out later ^^
