Makenshi and Nadia

“Makenshi, did you ever had a mate?”

That question…somehow the white zoroark knew his two adopted sons would ask him eventually. When Aldric had a mate of his own, the delphox was really new to the experience. Makenshi had been in his situation before…had very little about love until he met someone special. He cannot deny all those years he kept them from her…

Though, there is a reason why he rather not let them stay knowing her. For a long time, Makenshi wanted to help her gain her freedom. A freedom of being captive…cursed…from her grove. A hope he can find Jirachi too and have his wish granted…although which one is more important? His sister…or his love of his life? Each Pokemon who sees this Pokemon is…granted for one wish. After thinking hard, despite not having much success of finding his dear sister…being trapped at the same place is rather lonely. She’s more lonely than he ever was. He was fortunate to have three of them as company.

Sadly, it’s not easy for her.

“I do, actually.”

It was clear afternoon, after his hunting for his lunch he realized his mouth is running a bit dry. He has his keen sense of hearing and smell to search for a nearby water. If things comes to worse, he can always rely on his new strange ghostly friend of his. In the deadcenter of the handle was an odd marble, it had bothered him til this day to think if possible was the reason why the ghost’s soul still exist within the sword. Or maybe the soul is just holding the ghost and magical marble is what powers up the ghostly spirit. One thing for sure is that SHE a is white ghost Pokemon but she had told him that it’s not unusual for a ghost pokemon to be white like her, she's a shiny. But for her it was really unusual to see a white zoroark like him. The tips of his fur to be purple but the markings of his eyes remained the usual red like a normal zoroark.

For him he was not the popular zoroark. His hair was fairly short; his personally was serious and modest. He was never in the kind of a prankster or going as far to fool around with anyone. Makenshi was an exact opposite of what a zoroark should be. Then again…he never can turn into any Pokemon. That was what is natural for a zoroark. An ability to conceal one’s identity into many other Pokemon, be that of a legendary, a powerful pseudo, or someone’s mate. Oddly enough, his ability was not that.

His white fur…yes an unnatural color of a zoroark. For him, his fur is highly unappealing for among other zoroarks. White fur is hard to blend in the dark; very highly unlikely of a pokemon’s chance for survival in the wild.

It was a problem for him until he met the ghost. Now hunting was easier when he got to the point where he’s close enough so the ghost would help him get his food among the shadows.

His nose sniffed again but his nose alerted him someone is near the fresh water. He would hide until the close is clear although his nose let him something else. For his own senses something is telling him that creature is not a threat. Makenshi headed at the area that’s near and indeed he did found water…and something he had not seen before…

Petals black as ashes. Her plants were black and one covered her body like clothes, but she had fair white skin. Eyes that looked very sad and a sense of loneliness as it would've look like she’s close to still life plant if she had kept being unmoved.

Usually cautious, Makenshi would be wary of strangers though there is a possibility he felt sympathetic of this florges. He walked at her place and asked, “Is this water safe to drink?”

The black florges finally look at him; she was surprised at Makenshi’s color. “A-a white zoroark!” there was a sense of little fear in her throat but then realized it’s been a while she had encounter a zoroark that she didn't know she could've easily hurt him with his fairy advantage.
“G-get back if you know what’s good for you!”

“I…just came here to get a fresh drink of water.”

“Are you sure you’re not here to cause any trouble?” she said doubtfully.

“I will not take a skin from my claw or draw up my blade for your blood.” Makenshi replied.

“N-No tricks?”

Makenshi shook his head. “No tricks never…had I done such any.”

Her shoulders relaxed, “Then you are welcome to drink.”

The silent became very quiet until the fairy spoke once more, “Your fur….is bizarre for a zoroark like you.”

“I should say the same for you…”

“…” She looks at her petals and tenderly rubbed her slender fingers. “I never wanted to become…so pitch black…I wish I would be as colorful and beautiful like the other florges. I’m nothing more than a black sap.”

Makenshi wanted to say something about her beauty but he didn’t want to come onto her too fast that it would sound like he loved her at first sight. He would have to come up with something. “What made you say that?”

“Other Florges pick on me and saying I’m a cursed florges. And that’s what happened…I used to be able to freely move to meadow to meadow but now I’m stuck here for eternity.” She said. “I’m guessing it’s the same for you?”

“Yes…and my ability is from the rest of the Zoroarks.”

“Ability I thought it’s natural for zoroarks to become a master illusionist.”

“Yes…but my ability is different. My ability changes my special into physical.” Makenshi answered.

“I’m sorry that you’re unlucky as I.” said florges.

Makenshi shook his head, “But I used to always have hope. I was never alone. My sister was there to support me but she’s gone for so long that I tried to find her.”

“I hope you get to reunite your sister.”

“Thank you.” Said Makenshi and sat close to her after he was done drinking. “What is your name?”

“Nadia…”

It was from that point forward, his goal was withheld. Makenshi was in love with Nadia, he cannot deny that it felt strange. Whenever she slept, Makenshi would be very close to her. Though it was clearly obvious for Nadia that she knew he had feelings for her yet she didn't feel discomfort as she feel the same. By then…they are in love yet Nadia know Makenshi wanted to find his sister…his family is more important.

“Makenshi…”
Makenshi stirred from his sleep. Nadia leaned over and patted his shoulder until he woke up with a jerk. “W-what what happened!?”

“It’s nothing but…Makenshi you must depart. I know your sister matters more.”

His sister…the zoroark nearly forgotten his lopunny sister. Makenshi quickly got his sword. “Your right…I’m sorry.”

“No need to be sorry, I’m glad you gave me company.” Nadia said and this time she smiles, Makenshi smiled back enjoying seeing her smile only his smile was a little sad as hers.

“I’ll come back for you…I promised.” And then Makenshi kissed Nadia.

Yay I finally got around finishing a zoroark and florges pic. I actually planned a ZoroarkxFlorges picture for a while, the florges used to be a florette planned but then I thought it would've been better if it's a ZoroarkxFlorges since I actually love Florges design more now. I then wanted to do a much more detailed Florges, too instead of having a big 'fluffy' neckcollar I did an actual flowercollar of Florges. Yes Makenshi has couple of tidbits coloring from a shiny zoroark but retains a natural red tint on the eyes from a normal zoroark. And what's this mysterious mega stone on Makenshi's sword? You will find out soon enough!;P
