The Blind Date

Love is close to the horizon, and Audrey is spending time with her mate Logan.
However, they aren't together alone as another fooling is hanging out with them,
her name, Hsieyun without someone to be with. Does it really matter to her
that she doesn't have somebody? Perhaps not, most certainly for Audrey
this she cannot stand.

"Hsieyun, do you have a mate?"

"No...why?"

Tail wagging a huge wide grin appeared on the brown fooling's face, Logan groan as
he figured she's up to her strange shenanigans again.
"Well then, I think I can help you find the right guy! I just know who
might be the one for you!"

"Playing matchmaker is doubtfully risky dear. Your no cupid fooling that's for sure."
said Logan rolling at his eyes at her, she ignores him and continues babbling on.

"You might like him; gentlemen. Handsome, fur white as pearls
yet his back is sparkling like stars. Long sleek hair,
and his stance is tall yet firm. Since you love food, he's also...a really good cook." Audrey
added.

"Picky, distrustful towards strangers, brutally honest." pointed the red striped fooling.
"You forgot his negatives."

"That doesn't matter too much once he gets to know her better!" inclined Audrey. Shaking
her fur at her mate. "Well how about that Hsieyun, interested in him?"

Admittedly, she wasn't really sure she'd be going out someone that she doesn't know.
Especially she have no experience in 'dating' despite being over 300 years old. It
wouldn't hurt to try this blind date. After all, if it doesn't go well then it's not
going to be anyone's fault. A new experience that she would've like to know what's
it felt to be in love.

Giving some thought, Hsieyun then smiled back at her friend. "Okay I'll go
with your idea of you setting us up then.

"Will do! I'll have Hiro know about you then!"

My Hiro

Hiro arrived at the large garden, carrying a brown dish containing steam shrimp and steam
pork dumplings. He plopped the dim sum down between his feet waiting for his 'date'.
He sighed wondering why he's so caught up with Audrey setting him up with someone he
doesn't know. Especially this is the first time he ever met this gal.

'Look for the pink fooling with spots all over and three tails.' he reminded himself. Hiro
wasn't thrilled into meeting her. He had trouble making friends and rather keep his
close friends close. Never shaking the feeling this would go wrong if his
words came out something she doesn't like.

Stumbling the pink fooling appeared before his eyes. Hiro studied the pink fooling,
sniffing her and keeping a close eye on her. Hsieyun stand still
as he carefully checks her.

"Hello, you must be Hiro." With doubt in her voice, wondering as if Hiro
is wary about her being his mate.

Grunting Hiro replies, "Yes...you're Hsieyun. Correct?"

Gently smiling at Hiro, the pink canine nodded. "Yes I am." her nose
pick up a rather strong scent of food and couldn't help to ask if they're for her.

"Of course...I couldn't have someone be without an empty stomach." He
then offered his dim sum to her and she happily ate it. Her eyes sparkled
in delight appreciating and complimenting.

"Wow, it's better than the chinese fooling resturant! They're big and
it has so much stuff in it. Mushrooms with much tiny eggs on the steam
pork and large shrimp!"

"Thank you, cooking has always been a passion of mines. I do planned
on becoming a chef one day." smiled Hiro.

They talked for hours, spending their time talking about food, occupation,
where they live and many little things they enjoy talking. The two foolings
became very close that they ended up snuggling together. They didn't
think they would end up being with each other but somehow they did. Their
tails intertwined feeling their stomach already full of butterflies when they
both enjoy each other's company. For the first time, Hsieyun is in love along
with Hiro.

Underneath the waterfall the foolings shared a kiss.

Artist Note: My first fooling prompt! And what's better way to do this
prompt is a bit of romance? I actually wanted to do this prompt since
I'm really happy that Hsieyun found someone that's perfect for her.
I'm gushing how cute and perfect this is. The tails are really fun to
play around especially how floofy foolings fur works. x3
