Before Haupia became like this she looked much worse...

On the shore of of Alola region...this is where Linear found this sea lion
washed up in the beach. She instantly knew what went wrong when saw the
amount of blood this popplio had.

Both Linear and Nate ran closer to investigate what happen to the creature.

And they found the answer to the problem...

Plastic soda rings all tangled up in popplio's own flesh. If they hadn't noticed she would've die right there on the spot.
Quickly, Linear took out scissors from her backpack and cut the strands. The popplio's eyes open and immediately close
as it was too weak to move. Nate gave Linear his jacket to wrap the Popplio and they hurried to the nearest pokemon
center.

"Oh dear, what happened?" Nurse joy exclaimed as they passed the sea lion to her.

"We were luckily to stumbled this pokemon before it got too serious." exclaimed Linear.

"Well I'm glad you came as fast as you could." replied Nurse Joy as she and her assistant help healed the Pokemon.

After what seemed like hours the water starter was fully healed. "Here you go. It's sad to see Pokemon like this in few
cases suffered like this."

Nate was furious. "You mean people would recklessly throw trash into the sea water?"

"I'm afraid so...and it's not just trash here in this region but many others as well."

Nurse Joy handed the Popplio back to Linear and Linear held it like a puppy. She seemed pretty happy and 'barked' at Linear.

"She really likes you, you could have it tag it along." Nate said folding his arms.

The ranger laugh awkwardly. "I have no idea what I should name her though."

"You could name her after food like I did with my bulbasaur."

"Your just hungry." Linear laughed.

"Well I'm honest about what his bulb look like to me!"

"How about naming her after sweet desserts we have here in Alola? It's a called a Haupia which is made from coconuts." suggested
Nurse Joy.

"I think that name fits her..." smiled Linear holding her new water starter.

Yes this is going to be my starter for Pokemon Moon. Please refrain from posting
hate comments on this pokemon. I know a lot of people hate it's design. But
I wanna say...I LOVE THIS pokemon and it's inspiration. Yeah we already got a 'seal'
BUT THIS IS A SEA LION, A FREAKING SEA LION THAT I adore!! I actually wanna tell you
rather a short rl story of how awful I feel for this sea lion. Sea lions are usually socially fun,
playful, and smart mammals. But the sea lion I found...in china was all alone... it was
just one sea lion being cramped in the small aquarium. It made me feel sorry for it.
It had little water. It just stood at the cement lonely and there was just one sea lion.
And it made me inspired to develope this sea lion. To make a bit of awareness of sea
animals that they're living creatures that live in the same planet of ours.
