This is one of the Wisps that live in both my Cyantian Chronicles and Shivae! stories. In Cyantia, they are often seen as pets and technofamiliars. They're intelligent creatures, but most of them are venomous. A few species are lethal, but most are just strong enough to cause lingering pain with no lasting damage on larger creatures. A small number are lethal or have venom that knocks out larger creatures as a defense mechanism or can cause severe physical damage to the nervous system or liquify flesh. These creatures can switch from cold blooded to warm blooded when the environment calls for it. There are several species that are covered in fur and have feathery wings. Some species are docile and friendly, others are aggressive and untameable.
