Here's something you might not know about me: I absolutely LOVE playing scary videogames with friends (taking turns at the controller). Some of my favorites include the Fatal Frame series and Amnesia: the Dark Descent. I bought Soma a while back but haven't had a chance to play it yet.

This piece took a REALLY LONG TIME because I decided to hand-paint the background for practice, instead of doing something simple or using a photo as usual. For some of the more fiddly bits I did trace over a photograph, but there's nothing left of the photograph other than the pattern in the curtains.

Playing with the lighting in this was fun, too. Could use some work, but not bad imho.
