All right, now we're finally into art that I made recently.

I established these four characters in my previous submissions: Kappa and Foxie (https://www.weasyl.com/submission/128443), Orica (https://www.weasyl.com/submission/128456), and July (https://www.weasyl.com/submission/128474). Foxie is Kappa's best friend and sidekick, Orica is Kappa's mother, and July is Kappa's niece/Orica's granddaughter. At the time of this picture being taken, July is 15 years old, Foxie is 18, Kappa is 35, and Orica is 60.

Both Kappa's father, Artur, and July's parents, June (Kappa's fraternal twin sister) and Max (an elf), are dead by this point.

Changes from previous character designs: I gave them all eye colors, gave Orica earrings, and changed July's skin color slightly to be more of a midpoint between her mother and father. Foxie is bigger than she used to be, as well. Other than that, any differences you see are just my style evolving.

The background is their family home. The walls are meant to be absolutely plastered in pictures and photos, like a wall-mounted scrapbook. For the pictures here I basically took old art of mine and inserted it into all of the frames as placeholders. Although, the Kou family does have a lot of friends, including my old fursona (a spotted lioness) and my new fursona, among others.

The background took SO LONG that I didn't shade it or anything. I'm kinda proud of it, though. I traced part of it and used some textures, but overall I think it matches the Kou family really well. Really busy and cheerful.
