Zzyzx sabotaged Randi's root beer by swapping it with a love potion because she is jealous of Randi's & Owen's friendship/relationship. I'm sure there will be a lot of awkwardness between Tobin & Randi once she snaps out of it.

JFYI: Only Owen knows Zzyzx exists. Randi & Tobin are oblivious to her.
