These pack hunters are often times called Vampyres by locals due to their penchant for attacking humans at night and draining the bodies of live stock. If one is found wandering by itself, most likely it is a mature female, seeking to avoid the amorous attention of the males of its old pack.

They average 10 feet in height and are more akin to a coyote in behavior, only attacking humans when it's environment is encroached upon. They like thick forests and are prolific ambush predators. Legend around them crop up often as attacks on settlements are usually horrific, albeit rare.

If passive, they can be playful and intelligent.
