Here's the comparison. It is the same character, but the character himself has undergone so many changes and so has my art, and I wanted to share it. Both pictures were created in one sitting without any references (which i typically use now). I used the exact same pose to show how I have grown in understanding of anatomy, shading, lighting and color balance, as well as character design. The original 2008 image was one of the first images i created using a pen and tablet. You wont find the 2008 one in my gallery, I went by a different name at the time and i removed it due to not wanting to keep it for whatever reason.
