About seven weeks ago, I was taking a leisurely stroll down memory lane, watching the animated Dragonlance movie. It's pretty bad, in case you were wondering.

I was disappointed by the way the movie version of Takhisis had fairly sedate hair -- she should get classic Larry Elmore '80s hair! Then I discovered that Takhisis is the iconic Dragonlance character which Elmore hadn't painted.

Obviously I'm nowhere close to Larry Elmore levels of awesome, but obviously demure-hair-Takhisis would not do. So this is my version, complete with the Clawkini, which I painted up this afternoon after getting all inspired by YouTube painting videos.
