I wanted to draw something non work/money related to distract myself and.. I guess I fell back on an old reliable comfort <3
maybe because I remember several times in the past where I felt this depressed and hollow and I remember thinking about/drawing 'Zane always helped a mood boost
Maybe because, like my cat, 'Zane is always going to hold a special and irreplaceable piece of my heart
maybe because I used to draw him so much that it was an easy go-to for something nice to focus on- I admit it was lovely staring at his face for a few hours <3
anyway, whatever the reason it worked to tide over my emotional state until I (hopefully) got tired enough to go pass out ^^; <3

and aw thank you, I went a bit more at shading with this one than I've been doing and I was pretty pleased with the results :)

The shading and line work is absolutely gorgeous as always, this new style is really incredible xx Very drawn to the shading around his eyes and lips xx stunning hun simply stunning
