I worked very hard on this and it's very dear to me!

It's currently 3AM...I worked so hard on this

One of my 3 2016 resolutions was to use this year to better my composition and practice nature. As this is the perfect opportunity I've also taken the time to start practicing on drawing/painting more than one character in a photo. And being me I start with two horses.

It took me a long time to figure out the composition and even when I had figured it out it was a long time of torture as it looked simple to me...but that is also exactly what it's supposed to be sometimes. Simplicity is key, which is also another 2016 resolution. So I stuck with it. I did what I could, figured out what I knew about, and honestly it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. hah.

I never knew how to do grass either, until I finally on impulse decided to try a few weeks ago with a fanart piece in my gallery called Nano. That's where it all started.
I am beyond happy with everything I've accomplished in this piece(yes even the motion blur tool that I have now used for the first time).
