Terribly sorry for not uploading recently. I spent the second half of my summer on study abroad in Scandinavia (much of the time in Denmark but I spent a week each in Sweden and Norway respectively), so not a ton of art happened.

Except I come back to my gallery and realize that I never finished uploading the Faux Paws mascots here! So here we have Dell the (Sika) Deer. In the process of figuring out his design, Kirk and I decided that a Sika would be the most sensible type of deer for this mascot, since what other adult deer would wear socks with spots? (As far as I know, anyway, Sika are the only deer to keep those spots in adulthood) That being said, since Sika is a deer species indubitably tied to Japan, I opted for a bit of a matsuri theme with his outfit.

... Though admittedly, "Dell" isn't exactly a Japanese name.
