I kind of want to get into making proper references of my OCs and talking more about them online. So here's Sparrow's ref, at least a very basic ref.

Sparrow was adopted by a possum when he was a baby. She did her best for him, and when he was about eight or nine she moved him and her other kids closer to his "kind" of people. She wanted to try and intergrate him with his own kind, but it didn't go as well as she would have hoped. They ended up moving again, Sparrow ended up meeting a spynx and a mureva who got him into monster hunting. They taught him about what kind of monsters were bad, what kind were good to eat, and what kind would sell the best.
Sparrow had a hard time going out on his own for the first time, mostly just because of lonliness. But it got easier, and he got better with his hunting. It got more exciting, and he started testing the waters with bigger and bigger creatures. Whenever he would go to sell his pelts/meat he would always return to his family with gifts before heading out again.
But he did get bit once, on his shoulder. He wasn't quite sure what to do about it, as it started growing spikes out of it and getting bigger. New spikes start to poke out of his back and closer to his chest every now and then, and he began to notice some sort of werewolf-like symptoms also. But for the most part he's come to ignore it. His siblings and his mother find it kind of disturbing, but they try not to mention it.

So, Sparrow is really awkward and weird around people, even though he's naturally pretty social and doesn't like being alone. He feels very uncomfotable around most people and prefers the company of animals and other creatues. He doesn't take very good care of his hygiene (And even though I made him all clean in the ref, he's probably not all that clean in person XD I just was lazy and wanted to flat color it all. I'm sure his boots and pants are muddy and his hair is probably kind of gross.)
Sparrow is not overly religious, but he does worship the same god/goddess that his mother does, and sometimes he will leave an offering to her.
He's also discovered some very old portals in the forest that had been put there by the gods nearer to the beginning of their world. There's not a lot left in the world, and he is equally intriuged and frightened by them. But his curiosity has pushed him to step through one once, but he hadn't stayed long enough to look around, and rushed right back through. But it did prompt him to learn more about them! He ended up learning where the two led, and some other interesting little facts about them. Which came in handy when his friends-to-be, Hamb, came crashing through them one day!

So that's all I have to say right now, I might post more about him later. Expect a ref of his Momma possum and Hamb. :D (I think I'll do a ref of Sparrow as a child also.)
