This is something pretty old I re-discovered recently. I think I wanted to try and develop a style with pencils, since that's something I was never too fond of using. Now I'm not super happy with how it looks, but it did inspire me to continue practise using pencils.

Also I originally just started to draw a random dragon face, but with all the jewels and faint columns in the background that I added later he became a Smaug!
