Utilizing both the Eggman style and the Julian style, I came up with a convincingly robust design for Julian Robotnik that doesn't have him being super-bloated. Logically, a man that gets around as much as he does, who is on his feet as often as he is (And whom can run as fast as he apparently can) could not be as grossly overweight as SEGA, Archie Comics and DIC apparently thought he'd be. Sega even streamlined his design when they realized that there's no way someone that fat with short legs could possibly outrun Sonic.

So this was my take on Julian. A rugged, well-dressed scientific genius that actually LOOKS like he could hold his own against Sonic.
