I actually struggled with it too .. It's result of resizing image by browser to fit given size (which is hardcoded in page). When "downloaded" it's getting rendered in least downsampled manner.
it depends on pixels size of picture.. try use more nominal sizes of canvas, at least that those can be divided by two - that one is 1011x752... closest nominal would be 1024x768.

Other problem I run into when I use max. allowed size, picture gets artifacts on small preview on some browsers or hardware.. it's same thing.. just due to preview isn't proportional to 1280 limit.
