So i am not necessarily amazingly proud of this but i think it looks alright!'

It's depicting a Texas Cydonian Knight finding a few levies kinda just dinking around at an improvised outpost on the outskirts of Austin Texas and is probably fixin on giving em a chewing on his horse

I wanted to try drawing some more urban like buildings as that is something that i struggle with and, since it's the dragonscape, i need to draw urban buildings, so i decided to start with a mostly collapse sorta gas station kinda garage building and go from there.

Now some ideas about the Cydonians

So I do have a journal on Deviantart about Cydonian stuff since those Texans are essentially the military superpower of the North American DragonScape, being Dragon Crusader Cowboys tends to do that to folks. by 15 years post wakeup they will have a small empire from Eastern Texas into Louisiana and Oklahoma

But i wanted to touch up on their sorta military structure, as I dont think i was clear in the journal.

Basically since Cydonians are mostly a feudal esque society, you have 2 types of soldiers, one is built out of a warrior class of mounted knights who call themselves Angels, and Local Militias, called Levies

Angels: Who tend to do the bulk of dragon hunting, utilizing heavy awesome armor and horses to outmaneuver and overwhelm larger dragons such as even the powerful PreJagar just by being a fluid swarm of riders stampeding about with lances, guns, rockets and more. So they are called up on Draconic Crusades in which they go to an area, wipe out the castes and try to claim it for Cydonia. Each knight tends to take their own weaponry and armor which is fair, and it usually gets the job done.

Levies: Levies are everyone else. they are often called up to defend from attackers, which are mostly the draconic castes who they so often attack and openly hate. Minutemen are typically divided into two classes for organization and defense

Minutemen: Since the castes often have VerdaStal armor that is impenetrable by conventional bullets, and since cydonians predominantly fight castes, they opt for some old school muzzleloaded rifles built with firing VerdaStal
bullets which can more easily punch thorugh that. These muskets tend to be handmade and as such, vary wildly from welded together lead pipes to masterwork muskets but regardless, they need some protection while they reload and do their shooting so!

Pokers: basically a thin row of pikemen wielding a long pike and a shield to rest it on. the job of these guys is basically to stand in front of a line of Minutemen and basically poke anything that comes close, these guys tend to be more substantially armored since they're more likely to get stabbed than their ranged friends.
