The shrine guardian is an empyrean class dragon tasked with protecting the largest croco-derg dream shard, a magical crystalline formation that could be used for either great good or great evil in the wrong hands. His species of dragon isn't native to varkij and are born with a duel personality sort of like multiple personality disorder, only they have shared control, generally both personalities are opposite, ie; aggressive - peaceful, happy - sad, etc.
