Part of a series of paintings of carnivorous mammals for my university course. A bit awkward as I was just learning to use acrylic paint.

The Ethiopian wolf is a very rare endangered canine with a range restricted not only to Ethiopia but to specific highland habitats. It lives in packs that split up during the day to hunt rodents, its main source of food.
