Smiff is a well-intentioned kobold with grand aspirations and limited means. The important thing to know is that he is trying his hardest.

In Bar-ret's current campaign, he has a soft spot for the downtrodden and helpless, so it makes sense that he would tale this lil guy in without hesitation.
