I still think Cyrille has resemblances with Ludwig, so I went creative to explain why (Also because everyone dislike or hate Paradox and I want to show him under a different light).

So, in my fanfic (Sly Cooper: Inside a Mind), Kokitsune and Dimitri, Ludwig's parents, divorced. When this happened, Ludwig was 8 years old (as he is in this pic, means during Thieves in Time he was 8 years old as well) and never dealt with the fact his father "abandoned" him like that.

His mother then remarried, getting Cyrille Le Paradox as husband. The skunk, knowing the pain of not having a father, tried to be the best dad he could even if he never had one (as he died in prison due to Sly's father), trying to make the little hybrid love him as he loved him. Ludwig always disliked or even hated him, often shouting at Paradox that he wasn't his real father.

Some months later Cyrille, wanting to show his "child" that he was worth something and avenge his father, went through all that stuff that was actually Sly Thieves in Time. At the end of it, when he gets arrested and threw in jail, Ludwig manages to sneak in his cell at night. He then glomps him and hugs him, crying, calling him and begging him to not go away from them (he and his mom).

This was the very first and last moment Ludwig actually told him "I love you daddy", and is also the last thing Ludwig remembers before falling from his flying fortress during the last fight with Sly & Co.
