A 1927 Ford Model T Touring car, just added to my model car collection
I ecided to give it the deluxe treatment, with the mascot hood ornament and two-tone paint job. I figure about half the Model T's made were the Deluxe version.
You might be right. It does look a little like Brum. I saw a toy version of that car at Radio Shack (remember that store?) a few years ago.
It was an American thing. It was a store that sold electronic equipment including TVs, stereos, computers, tapes, CDs/DVDs, and components for do-it-yourselfers. There were several thousand stores located in the US and other parts of the world.
Well, maybe this will help: http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Shack
