This Nissan Skyline R-34 was also built for MattC230's character Kasumi Fujiwara.
When the artist told me most of her cars were either black or silver, I had to go back and repaint the body and wheels. Sometimes tuner cars have small different-colored parts to give them that mild custom look. The brownish-red interior was part of the car's original paint scheme: burgundy red with orange trim. I could only paint the seat and door inserts black because I had already installed the instruments in the dashboard. Still, I hope you like it!
Nice! Pretty nice build! The only thing I didn't like about the Tamiya R34 is the lack of engine, that's why I got the R32. Ended up pretty good. Nice to see someone with the same hobby.
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like t.
I tried to find an R32 kit, but all I could find was the R34. Actually, the 34 looks a lot better than the 32.
And as for the Tamiya kits lacking an engine, it's pretty much typical. They pretty much wanted to make the kits simple to construct, yet still give detailed painting steps. The only exceptions I saw from them were the 1962 Honda S600 and the 1990 Nissan Fairlady 300 ZX.
