This is the second of 3 dioramas I built based on a suggestion by "REALVOYER" of DeviantArt. He said I should photograph my model cars against more realistic-looking backgrounds.
The base and backdrop were made of wood and painted with Rustoleum, Testors, and Vallejo paints. The rocks are real ones from taken from a flower bed in front of my house, and the sand and cactus plants came from a local hobby shop. I had to use alternating layers of spray adhesive and sand to make the landscape as realistic-looking as possible.
I'll soon be working on my 3rd diorama, a roadside forest...so stay tuned.
