While routinely test-flying his incredible Supercar, Mike Mercury spots something unusual: two colorful bears in an open-air cloud-like roadster. He checks the air pressure gauge in the instrument panel...Pressure normal. He then turns his attention back to the bears and sees Cheer (the pink bear) wave at him, while Tenderheart (the brown bear) steps on the accelerator and causes the cloud car to speed away. Mike contacts everyone at home base and reports the incident, even showing them Supercar's unique "Clearview" image. Dr. Beaker and Prof. Popkiss suggest Mike return to base and have himself and Supercar examined...and mike heartily agrees.
