So. I guess I am starting to get okay in Illustrator.
Mostly the ability to transform pieces from big to small without pixelization (in working files), the linework ends up really crisp, text is a lot more forgiving on that platform than say Photoshop, some other things I cannot put a finger on right now... but it's pretty hard to achieve painterly looks with illustrator, and if one does that, they stand to make a lot of money from advertisers.

What are the benifits of illustartor over the other paintprograms and photoshop, I only ever used illustator for vector graphics for posters and cards and such.
