It might be that I have a thing for gasmasks, personally. They creep me out to an extent but they're always an interesting touch on a character if done right. And it just looks like it's done right here :) Though if I were looking at these characters just by silhouette, the third from the left looks great too just because his silhouette is complex with what he carries, though he'd still be easy to pick from a lineup even without his possessions on his back.
