"In the nether, everything is created of a dark ichor that seeps from the underground. It seems to be much like dirt and water in the ether, acting as the foundation for all life. The physical properties of it are impossible to quantify as functionally it only exists inside ones mind, or on another plane of existence or perhaps in another universe entirely, where fundamental laws of reality seemingly act differently. Perhaps water would seem similarly baffling to them if they were to ever see it."
