The bane of the people who travel up north. The beastly giants of the tundras are well known among most people, mostly through fairy tales, but make no mistake as they are still very much real. Thanks to recent development in the northern regions due to the spreading of the empire they aren't as much of a cause of worry as they used to be. However still many merchants and adventurers alike who do not wish to pay the toll of using the royal path disappear due to these creatures. As with most other reptilian creatures they are aggressive and primitive, unlike most other beast races, they are known to actively hunt people, as opposed to most other creatures that only strike people if they tread into their territory. Thanks to that they have received a notoriety worthy of their vile appearance and habits. Small start up guilds have developed in the north, and some in the south as well, which are dedicated to hunting them for the sake of safety, or for sport. Of course this is no easy task and many men are required to strike down even one of them.
