Pressure Suit Mk II - Reference by Farore

GordonFawks

So this is basic reference for Gordon't pressure suit, with Gordon in it!

The suit is designed to operate in a variety of conditions but the base layer is the body-suit; everything between the cuffs and collar and this he wears just about everywhere; although it can and does retract into the cuffs and collar.

The support-pack displays the current status of the wearer and can be adjusted to give a variety of displays. Currently it represents oxygen reserve level. Generally "green is good" is the rule there. The hands and feet optional and are show in this case for reference as open except for detail shots. This is a possible but rare configuration generally used in environments where tactile sense is required and the main concern is air quality. In the event the suit feels that this needs to change it will automatically light red on the cuffs and seal the feet and hands.

This suit does rely on holding tight to the wearer and presenting a flexible, impermeable barrier to avoid decompression; squeezing down on the person wearing it mechanically, to do this effectively over minute surfaces like hands and feet it is nanite-based unlike its predecessor.

Gordon also has backports, something he has acquired only lately, and these are used to interface with the life-support pack on his back. They are a direct neural interface ports and occur in three pairs evenly spaced down his back from tailbase to neck.

Special thanks, again, to FaroreNightclaw
