Lunch Break (critique requested)

TheEvilTeaDrinker

I have been wanting to draw Tikah having a little snack break on top of a robot for some time, truthfully I might of had a tad bit too much fun with the droid in this image though not sure all of it is correct with the perspective but oh well.

A actually complete piece of Tikah too! Woah! I get the feeling images of her are going to be overly complex with machinery
Oh all the future hand cramps to come from the tedious details I oh so love to hate.

Tikah and art belong to me~

You've got a great complementary scheme down here. The character (who's really cool!) is placed really intelligently in the piece, but I think the super long canvas is distracting for me. Cropping the area below the mecha a bit might work, because that area is a huge visual hole. Fill that hole either by taking it out, or filling it with an element. (Maybe a piece of armor or rock laying in the foreground?)

Overall great stuff! Your technical skills are on point. Just be extra mindful when thinking about composition for very wide/tall canvases like this

Ohh! I see what you mean there. I had been somewhat bothered by something in this image, but had been unable to figure out exactly what it was. That there though is a pretty helpful statement! I will definitely keep that in mind for future pictures.

Thank you so much for this helpful comment seriously.
