I honestly can't remember the first time I ever saw a fairy garden. I can however, recall the most impressive one I've ever seen. It spanned about eight feet in circumference and was situated on a sprawling glass table. It was quite a microcosm you just had to see to believe. The fabrics and moss as well as the many colors and textures composing the set were something I could stare at all day long. Leaning my head in close, I could see every little scene, every little fairy dance and every little brightly-colored rock composing the artificial stream. I was so impressed! I even received my own fairy garden from my girlfriend. And thus. my appreciation for fairy gardens was born!
