Day 16

It feels like my new bird instincts and rational human mind are at odds with one another. For the past few days, I've resisted the urge to hurl myself out my apartment window or off the roof because my feathers hadn't fully grown in yet. (Nor had my... bones hollowed out, yet...? I'm too afraid to get an x-ray, and it's not just because I'm a walking, talking, human-sized bird now.)

Well, today, my human mind was weak. I needed food, and grocery delivery wasn't gonna cut it for this Braviary. So, I did it. I flew. And it felt amazing. Well, until...
