Yeah, I know I'm not doing the scientific community any favors. :p
I do make my platypus sona/OC slightly more avian than what a real platypus is supposed to be, incorporating elements of ducks and penguins, so I consider him more than just a platypus, I guess

The tags are a bit strange. The platypus is a monotreme, definitely not a bird.
